Pursuant to Art. 13-14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) · Last updated: 18 August 2026
This notice describes how the personal data of users who browse this website and use the contact and quote-request forms it contains are processed.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Notary Marco Faieta.

2. Data processed and purposes
We process only the data that the user voluntarily provides by filling in the website forms:
- Contact form: first name, surname, email address, message content.
- Quote-request form: first name, surname, phone, email address, tax code or VAT number, type of request and an optional message.
- Technical data: originating IP address, processed solely to prevent abuse and mass submissions of the forms (temporary limit on the number of submissions).
The purpose of the processing is to respond to the requests sent and, where applicable, to provide the requested quote or information. Data are not used for marketing, profiling or commercial communication purposes.
3. Legal basis
- Art. 6.1.b GDPR — performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (responding to requests sent through the forms).
- Art. 6.1.f GDPR — the controller's legitimate interest in the security of the website and the prevention of abuse, limited to the processing of the IP address.
Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary to process the request; failure to provide them makes it impossible to handle the request.
4. Processing methods and retention
Data are processed with electronic tools, using measures adequate to ensure their security and confidentiality. Requests are received by the Office via email.
Data submitted through the forms are kept for the time necessary to handle the request and provide a reply and, in any case, for no longer than 6 months from the last contact, after which they are deleted. An exception applies where the request gives rise to a professional engagement: in that case the data are kept for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by legal obligations (in particular under notarial, tax and anti-money-laundering rules). These are contact data only: they are not used for marketing purposes nor kept beyond those purposes.
5. Recipients of the data
Data are not disseminated. They may be processed, as data processor, by the website's hosting and email provider, Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), whose servers are located within the European Union.
6. Transfers outside the EU
For the ordinary operation of the website no transfer of data outside the European Union takes place: fonts and icons are hosted directly on the site and the hosting is in Italy.
An exception is the Google Maps map on the Contact page, which is not loaded automatically: it is activated only if the user clicks the dedicated «Load the map» button. In that case, and only in that case, the connection to Google LLC servers may involve the processing of technical data (including the IP address) also outside the EU, under Google's terms. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
7. Cookies and tracking tools
This website does not use profiling cookies, analytics cookies or any advertising tracking tool. There is therefore no cookie banner. The only case in which third-party cookies or local data may be stored is the voluntary loading of the Google map described in point 6.
8. Rights of the data subject
In relation to the data processed, the data subject may exercise at any time the rights provided for by Art. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing and data portability.
To exercise these rights it is sufficient to write to mfaieta@notariato.it. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Changes to this notice
The controller reserves the right to amend this notice. The updated version is always published on this page with the relevant last-updated date.
